Health and wellness coaching is revolving around one’s bioindividual needs and multiperspective ways of living. It involves taking into account one’s mental, emotional, physical and spiritual experience while making plans based on these individual needs and experiences. It is a goal and process oriented collaboration where we work on your timeline taking into account how you want to lead your life. You as a whole are health and wellness and it’s about getting one into balance with their specific goals, wants and needs in life.
Coaching is not a replacement for therapy. Therapy is often focused on healing past traumas, triggers, managing mental health conditions and exploring deep emotions patterns. Coaching, even though it deals with understanding emotions and patterns, is more future based. It’s about setting goals, building habits, and forward momentum in life.
Typically we will be doing weekly check in where we evaluate what has worked through your week and what hasn’t. There will be space to express any grievances and wins that you experienced and continue making plans to move forward. With that, we will also be consistently checking in on if your goals continue to align with you and if the way we are going about them is working with your lifestyle.
Refer to the services tab to see the correct timeline for each service. It can vary from 4 weeks to 8 weeks or needed individual sessions.
I will send you a health intake form that you will need to fill out at least 24 hours before our session. Then, we will meet for a 50 minute consult to go over your health history and find out if we are a good fit. If all goes well, we can then move forward and decide which coaching program is best for you!
We will be using the Practice Better platform and app as we work through the coaching program. It is very user friendly and includes everything we will need. You are able to share any bloodwork labs, food and exercise journals, make appointments and keep up with any notes posted from me along the way.
We can absolutely talk through that in our initial consultation. We can work together to find a structure that works for you and your needs!
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations, to allow for rebooking and scheduling ease. Thank you!
